Lino Sabattini Christofle Cake Server
Lino Sabattini Christofle Cake Server
Low stock: 1 left
Designed by Lino Sabattini (1925–2016), this sleek cake server embodies mid‑century elegance and functional artistry. Sabattini, an influential Italian silversmith and designer, served as Christofle’s Director of Design (1956–1963), blending minimalist modernism with refined classical touches.
Sabattini introduced this refined "pala" style server around 1960–75. The blade features a stylized, nearly rhombic profile—sharp and geometric—while the handle curves subtly for comfortable handling. The result: a striking balance of aesthetics and purpose, beautifully modern yet timeless.
Silverplated brass.
Approximate Dimensions: 12" x 3"
Vintage conditioned with gentle surface wear; light scratches visible on reflective plating.
